• Ceramic balls are more round than steel, also decreasing rolling resistance

• Ceramics, due to their hardness, can grind foreign particles into a fine dust thereby reducing wear to steel bearing races
• These bearings are rated at grade 5 meaning they are 500% more round than the highest quality steel bearing
• Also gives a modest weight reduction compared with steel bearings
